Job Title: Full-Time English Tutor
Job Summary: We are seeking a Full-Time English Tutor to provide high-quality English language tutoring services to students of all ages and levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing lesson plans, teaching students, assessing student progress, and communicating with parents or guardians.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that meet the needs of each student.
- Teach students of all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced, in a variety of settings (in-person or online).
- Utilize various teaching methods and techniques to engage students in the learning process.
- Assess student performance and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Create and administer tests and exams to evaluate student progress.
- Keep accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress.
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience in teaching English as a second language to non-native speakers is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
