Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
As an Advisor, you will provide day-to-day support and advice to the Senior Advisors and wider team of the Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) on information requests, issues management and projects. You will also engage with national teams across Kāinga Ora to ensure that the DCE is kept well informed of matters that relate to the work programme of the regions, including recommending strategies and responses for dealing with a range of operational issues to ensure timely and appropriate resolutions.

  • You'll have a sound knowledge of issues and trends in public housing and social services, coupled with an interest in public sector structure, governance, processes and systems
  • You'll have the demonstrated ability to identify, collate, organise and analyse data to provide information and inform and enable decision-making
  • You'll be adept at clearly and concisely conveying information and ideas through both oral and written communication. Experience in drafting correspondences, reports and memos.
  • Naturally, you will have exceptional interpersonal skills that enable you to build meaningful, trusting relationships with stakeholders.
